ARCIL Sets ₹132–139 Price Band for September 9 IPO

Asset Reconstruction Company (India), commonly known as ARCIL, has set a price band of ₹132 to ₹139 per share for its initial public offering opening on September 9, 2026. The ARCIL IPO is scheduled to close on September 11, according to its regulatory documents and market notices.

The transaction is entirely an offer for sale by existing shareholders. That means money raised through the sale will go to the selling holders rather than becoming fresh capital for ARCIL.

ARCIL IPO timetable and structure

SEBI’s abridged prospectus records the red herring prospectus dated September 1. Market reports say the offer involves approximately 5.27 crore shares and is expected to raise around ₹733 crore at the upper end of the price band, subject to final demand and allocation.

The indicative timetable places allotment finalisation on September 15, refunds and demat credits on September 16, and listing on the BSE and NSE on September 17. IPO timetables can change, so investors should check the final exchange notices.

What ARCIL does

ARCIL was established as India’s first asset reconstruction company. Such businesses acquire stressed loans and other financial assets from lenders, then pursue resolution, restructuring or recovery under the applicable regulatory framework.

Financial Express reported that ARCIL expects opportunities from the expected-credit-loss framework because earlier recognition of stress could increase the supply of assets offered for resolution. The company is also developing collection services for banks and non-bank lenders.

Points investors need to distinguish

An offer for sale does not strengthen the company’s balance sheet through new equity proceeds. Prospective investors therefore need to assess the business using the prospectus disclosures on financial performance, asset portfolios, recovery cycles, concentration, litigation and regulatory risk.

The price band is not a guarantee of the listing price or future returns. Demand during book building, broader market conditions and investors’ assessment of ARCIL’s earnings can all affect the outcome.

Readers considering an application should rely on the red herring prospectus and official exchange announcements rather than promotional summaries. The established facts are the September 9–11 subscription window, the ₹132–139 band and the offer-for-sale structure.
