Haiwaan Box Office: Early Day 2 Estimates Show a Dip

Haiwaan box office reports published on September 13 indicate that the Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan film collected less on Saturday than on its opening Friday. Early estimates differ between trackers, so there is no single reconciled two-day total to present as final.

The Indian Express reported approximately ₹3 crore in India net collections on September 11 and ₹2.5 crore on September 12, taking the two-day estimate to ₹5.5 crore. Bollymoviereviewz’s trade figures were lower: ₹2.8 crore for Friday and ₹2.2 crore for Saturday, or ₹5 crore across the two days.

Haiwaan box office figures remain estimates

The two reports agree on the direction of the Saturday movement, but their amounts should remain separately attributed. The ₹5 crore and ₹5.5 crore figures are alternative early estimates, not amounts to add together or average into a new reported total.

This account uses India net collections when describing those estimates. It does not combine them with gross or overseas receipts. Keeping the measurement consistent matters when comparing a film’s day-to-day performance.

Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan return together

Directed by Priyadarshan, Haiwaan reached cinemas on September 11. The Indian Express highlighted the reunion of its two lead actors after Tashan, released in 2008. Their return on screen is part of the interest surrounding the opening weekend.

Bollymoviereviewz identifies the film as a remake of the Malayalam thriller Oppam, also directed by Priyadarshan. Its early trade report places Saturday below Friday rather than describing the film as gaining momentum after release.

Sunday will complete the opening weekend

The reported figures cover Friday and Saturday only. September 13 is the third day of release, so these two-day totals are not a completed opening-weekend result. A Sunday figure should be added only after a clearly dated estimate or confirmed update becomes available.

Nor do the early receipts, by themselves, establish the film’s final commercial outcome. Production budgets, distribution arrangements and later earnings are separate questions. This report does not use unconfirmed salary claims or estimated budgets to declare the film profitable or unsuccessful.

The immediate development is a reported second-day decline, with a modest difference between the available tracking estimates. Further reports may revise those amounts as the opening weekend concludes.
